Welcome to Standup For Women Society (SWS)

The aims of this organisation is to bring all Nigerian women together to speak with one voice in demanding for our rights from the public and government at all times and levels. We do not aim our group creation at undermining our husbands or to erode our roles as wife’s and mother’s. Rather, It is aimed at ensuring that women are given their rights and treated better at homes and in the society. Women were created by God to be help-mates, partners and builders of their respective husband’s, children and families, and these roles must not be subjugated for any reason.

SWS CALLS FOR UNITY, LOVE, AND TOGETHERNESS AS MUSLIMS MARK EIDIL FITRI

The Standup for Women Society wishes all Muslims around the world Happy Eidil Fitri.

The International.President, Barrister Deborah Ijadele-Adetona in her message made public by the Association National Public Relations Officer, Lib. Billie Nwogu prays to God for Nigerians to witness many of this day in the land of the living

Barr. Adetona called on Nigerians to remain united and that if a nation is united, then the people can face a common enemy who wants Nigeria to break apart

She encouraged leaders at all levels to preach peace, love and unity no matter the tribe, religion, or status.

SWS International President maintains that if the people united, the country will grow to become a world-class that many will envy.

She equally urges Nigeria citizenry to rally around the outgoing President, Muhammadu Buhari to have a very smooth transition handover to the incoming President-Elect, Ahmed Bola Tinubu without hitch by God’s grace

“Barka De Sallah to my brothers, sisters, mothers, and fathers in Islam. May Allah accept your Ibadah and crown it all with more blessings.

“Pls, let the love, the unity and care for one another be our priority. We are one before our creator and if we see one another as one, then we can achieve whatever we want to achieve together.

In conclusion, Barrister Deborah Ijadele-Adetona condemned tribalism, nepotism, religious bigotry and ethnicity which she said can destroy a nation.
